Central Coast Grammar School engaged Digital Garden to redesign their outdated website, focusing on lead generation, modernising its digital presence, and creating a user-friendly platform that effectively reflects the school's prestige and drives enrolments.
Built on Drupal, the new website was designed to break away from the typical private school “blazer brigade” look. Instead, it featured authentic, down-to-earth imagery and interactive content that showcased the school’s facilities, students, staff, and families. A key component of this visual content was produced by the school’s marketing partner, Treehouse Creative. The website needed to convey the prestigious image of CCGS while remaining approachable and relatable to prospective families.
A significant focus of the project was on delivering an enhanced user experience across all devices. Our team created an adaptive, mobile-friendly website, ensuring prospective families could access information seamlessly on desktop, tablet, or mobile. Admins were also given the power to easily manage content through a flexible content management system (CMS), allowing them to add multimedia elements and create new pages without requiring development assistance.
One of the key challenges was ensuring the website would be ready to launch before the school’s peak enrolment period. The new site went live in October 2017, just in time for this critical window, demonstrating immediate improvements in user engagement and inquiries.
The final product is a contemporary, responsive website built on Drupal. It not only enhances CCGS’s digital presence but also streamlines the process for prospective families to inquire about and enrol at the school. The website continues to serve as an effective tool for lead generation and reflects the prestigious yet welcoming spirit of Central Coast Grammar School.
