A multisite WordPress solution
Digital Garden designed and developed a multisite solution for Surf Life Saving NSW and its beachgoing audience across Sydney and wider New South Wales.
Design brief
An institution at the centre of Australia’s beach culture, Surf Life Saving NSW has been a client of Digital Garden for many years.
As a part of a new digital transformation project within the organisation, Digital Garden was tapped to build a multisite platform that would consolidate the content management system (CMS) and hosting of several Surf Life Saving NSW websites into one digital superstructure – all with their own frontend look and feel.
Key features
The key features of the new multisite Digital Garden created for Surf Life Saving NSW are:
- a modern, clean UI design and implementation that built to accessibility principles
- an intuitive and uncluttered user experience that brings important information to the fore
- a publicly accessible Members area housing downloads, resources and publications for staff and volunteers on the go (or on the beach)
- organisational efficiencies through a role and permissions structure that allows CMS users in any part of the organisation to edit their part of their website
- more content autonomy, with CMS users able to create unique pages without design or development know-how
Results
We love working with Surf Life Saving NSW. A professional, collaborative and easy-going client open to new ideas and approaches that, we feel, made for a fantastic new digital solution.
